Class X (ICSE) Indian Certificate Of Secondary Education
The ICSE Examination is conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. New Delhi in February/ March. Students are offered the following subjects:-
(A) Total subjects six (6)
GROUP A
Group I - English, Hindi, History. Civics & Geography.
Group II - Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & Mathematics.
Group III - (One of these) Art/ Computer Applications.
GROUP B
Group I - English, Hindi, History Civics & Geography
Group II - Mathematics/Commercial Study, Economics
Group III - (One of these) Art/ Computer Applications
(B) Project work
Project Work is assessed both by Internal & External Examiners.
(C) S. U. P. W.
It is compulsory for the students to pass in the S.U.P.W. Examination failing which, the council does not issue Pass Certificate even if a student qualifies in External Examination. The S.U.P.W. is assessed internally by the school.
Class XII (ISC) - Indian School Certificate Examination
Candidates who have been awarded pass certificate in the ICSE examination or other board with pass in five subjects including English & a second language are eligible to be admitted for preparation in courses of study leading to the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination.
Subject offered :-
- Compulsory Subjects- English
- Elective Subjects -
- Science: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, Hindi/Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Art, (one of these)
- Commerce: Accounts. Commerce, Economics, Hindi/ Computer Science/ Mathematics/ Art (one of these)
S. U. P. W
It is compulsory for the students to pass in the S.U.P.W. Examinations failing which, the Council does not issue Pass Certificate even if a student qualifies in External Examination. The S.U.P.W. is assessed internally by the school.
Note:- Student from other board seeking admission in class XI of ISC stream are required to submit Migration certificate of respective board.
Minimum Attendance Requirement
Candidates whose attendance is below 75% of the working days during the academic year are not eligible to appear for the ICSE/ ISC Examinations.
