Independence Day 2018

Independence Day was celebrated in Pine Hall School to mark 71 years of freedom from British rule. The programme started with flag hoisting by honourable Principal        Dr. (Mrs) Rama Anand. The students sang the National Anthem and Vande Matram in unison and expressed the joy of freedom. The Principal paid homage and respect to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom and advised the students to become the ideal citizens of the country. The students shared their views on the significance of the day and awakened everyone’s feeling towards motherland. Patriotic poems were recited by the students which spell-bound the audience and energised them with patriotic fervor. On this patriotic occasion students showcased India’s freedom struggle and progress from pre-independence era to the new millennium. A skit about the glorious contribution of women’s struggle for independence highlighted the importance of women empowerment.

The programme concluded with distribution of sweets among the students.
