15 August is a day of immense pride and joy for all Indians. On this day, India celebrates its heroes and freedom fighters that sacrificed their lives for the nation to bring us freedom.
Pine Hall School celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and zeal. The Principal Dr. (Mrs) Rama Anand hoisted the tricolour followed by the National Anthem and Vande mataram. The Principal urged the students to realize, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation.
The students participated in an array of events. The choir sang the patriotic songs which gave a message of harmony and brotherhood. To commemorate the occasion speeches were delivered by Laiba Khan and Anushka Shahi which enthused everyone with a patriotic spirit and a sense of commitment towards the nation. The students recited poems which infused to the spirit of nationalism and patriotism amongst the audience. A mesmerizing dance was performed by the students. The students honoured and commemorated the victory of Indian Army with solemnity and pride by enacting a play on the wars of 1962 , 1965 and Kargil war.
A tree plantation drive was carried out by Principal Dr ( Mrs) Rama Anand and the students. The program was concluded by the distribution of the sweets to the students.
