The Pine Hall School

The school consists of one large main building whose spacious and airy rooms accomodate the administrative section and the senior classes. Besides this, it has two separate buildings which house the junior section and a fourth which is the dormitory and recreation hall. There are two play grounds in the school, one for the primary classes and the other for the junior classes. (go to top)

The aim of the school is to provide a full, liberal and comprehensive education. The object is to turn out young men & women with a keen sense of discipline, responsibility, initiative, self reliance, integrity and loyalty.

Our Objective

Pine Hall School owes its origin to the initiative and enthusiasm of Late Mrs. Adarsh Anand, the Foundress Principal, who had a long experience in the field of education. This school was established in the Year 1967 It is a day cum residential, co-educational English Medium School affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. New Delhi The school has classes from Nursery to XII and prepares student for the ICSE at the standard X level and the ISC at the standard XII level. The school is registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860. The Institution is ably run under the Management of the Board of Governors. The school is open to all nationalities and creed whatsoever. Aims and Objectives

Every Educational Institution has to frame its aims and objectives which incorporate the needs and aspirations of parents and students. These can be summed up as follows:
  • The school's aims are to impart sound basic education in English Medium along modern lines, and the staff recognise it as the most urgent and sacred part of their duty, the formation of the characters of those students entrusted to their care.
  • The Institution adopts, as its goal, the best from our rich and varied heritage and inculcates a perfect all round education and development (in mind, Physique and mental attitude) of the students which shall in time, lead them to be worthy, true and good citizens of whom our countrj -India-shall be proud of.
  • The aim of the school is to provide a full, liberal and comprehensive education. The object is to turn out young men & women with a keen sense of discipline, responsibility, initiative, self reliance, integrity and loyalty.
  • To inspire creativity by encouraging students to discover their innate talents and aptitudes and help them visualize their future work towards actualizing their goals.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Every student should buy the school diary and carry it to the school daily.
  2. Students must wear the prescribed school uniform (Summer /Winter). Defaulters in this respect are liable to be debarred from attending the classes.
  3. Students who are absent from school even for a day are required to bring an application from their parents/guardian, explaining the cause of absence. If a student is continuously absent for seven days, without getting the leave sanctioned, his/her name will be struck off from the rolls.
  4. The price of the school furniture, equipment, apparatus, glass panes or other school property, damaged by a student due to carelessness will be charged from the parents.
  5. On their way to and from school students are expected to conduct themselves in a becoming manner.
  6. At a Parent -Teacher meetings, all parents should deem it their duty to be present and to check on the progress of their children.
  7. A child who is suffering from an infectious disease will not be allowed to attend the school.
  8. Parents or Guardians are not allowed to meet teachers during school hours without the prior permission of the Principal.
  9. Parents and Guardians are requested to notify the school of any change of address or telephone number.
  10. The school will not be responsible for loss of personal property brought by students.
  11. The Principal is empowered to rusticate or suspend or remove a student from the roll of the school on grounds of indiscipline, use of unfair means in examinations, misbehaviour, gross neglect of academic work or frequent absence from classes without leave, without prior notice to parents.
  12. Lending or borrowing of money is strictly prohibited. Students are advised not to buy any food articles from any unauthorized street vendor.
  13. A student who fails for the second time in his/her total stay at Pine Hall School will be withdrawn from the school on academic grounds.
  14. Games, sports and physical training is compulsory for all students. Exemption is only allowed on medical ground.
  15. Strict action shall be taken against students who are regular late comers.
  16. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school. If found the same may be confiscated by the school authority.
  17. Students are not allowed to use any two or four wheeler, to and from school.

Community Services

At Pine Hall School, social service plays a significant role. We encourage students to take up Socially useful productive work (SUPW). This requires them to make frequent visits to various institutions for voluntary service. Other issues addressed are environment protection, afforestation and other conservation projects.
